Cheech Mulan: The Bay Area Artist

Also known as Aries, I'm a Bay Area artist deeply rooted in a rich musical legacy. Growing up surrounded by music, with a mother who sang and danced backup for RBL, my passion for music ignited early as I wrote my first song at just nine years old in Sunnydale, CA. Music evolved beyond a hobby during a crucial time in my life when I began creating while incarcerated, initially just to pass time. Encouraged by those around me who recognized my talent, I started to embrace my gift more seriously. 

After my release, a powerful push from my mother—my biggest critic and strongest supporter—solidified my belief in my potential. Since then, Cheech Mulan has been developing her sound as a hip hop artist with authenticity, resilience, and purpose. Guided by faith, I aim to elevate Cheech Mulan music to new heights while ultimately giving back by opening homeless shelters and making a real impact in the community.
